Komunikasi adalah

Komunikasi adalah prasyarat kehidupan manusia. Tindakan komunikasi bisa dilakukan secara verbal dan non-verbal. 
Komunikasi secara verbal maksudnya adalah komunikasi yang dimediasikan melalui lisan dan atau tulisan. Sedangkan komunikasi non-verbal adalah kegiatan komunikasi yang bermedia gesture(bahasa tubuh), ataupun tanda lain yang mengandung arti.
Komunikasi menurut penyampainnya terbagi dua. Yakni komunikasi secara langsung dan tidak langsung.
1. Komunikasi secara langsung adalah komunikasi yang dilakukan secara langsung tanpa adanya media selain penerima. Misalnya berbicara secara tatap muka, surat,telepon,sms ,dsb
2. Komunikasi tidak langsung adalah komunikasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan media tertentu ,khususnya media massa. Contohnya adalah surat kabar,majalah,radio,TV ,dsb
